In the first nine months of its fiscal year that runs to the end of June, Pakistan’s footwear exports grew by 15.86 percent to $104.351 million. Leather footwear exports represented 84.55 percent of the total and increased by 11.26 percent, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

During the period running from July to March, 12.7 million pairs of shoes were exported, 40.89 percent more than a year earlier, but volumes of leather footwear exports only rose by 9.57 percent.
