A 6.5 percent increases in sales of branded footwear led Pacific Brands to a growth of 6.8 percent to 1.62 billion Australian dollars (€968.6m-$1,235.9m) in its 2006 financial year, ended June 30. The Australian company’s turnover from branded footwear, which includes the Clarks, Dunlop and Merrell brands, rose to A$249.1 million (€148.9m-$190.0m). Pacific Brands is a company that markets several brands of underwear, sportswear, home comfort and shoes in its domestic market and abroad.
