A nearly stable trade balance for Portuguese footwear

In the first six months of 2012, sales of Portuguese-made shoes in foreign countries increased by 3.06 percent to €746.6 million, while imports into the country rose by 2.21 percent to €218.5 million, leaving a big and comfortable trade balance for the sector.
