According to the Swedish press, a Swedish court has ruled that Mats Nilsson, chief executive and owner of Vagabond, is guilty of taking roughly SEK 3.8 million (€0.4m-$0.6m) in undeclared income during the 2005-09 period. The Swedish tax authorities accuse Nilsson of avoiding taxation by utilizing a complex setup of multiple businesses located in different tax haven countries. A former employee reportedly alerted the Swedish tax authorities, supplying numerous documents copied from the company's computers before leaving. This allowed authorities to obtain a warrant and search Nilsson's home and offices where more evidence was obtained.
