Achim Tischer will be leaving as one of the managing directors of the Wortmann Group at the end of April. The 48-year-old, who started his career at Wortmann in 1990, is resigning by mutual agreement and for personal reasons. Tischer was most recently responsible for international sales of Wortmann's Tamaris brand, but also served in the group's product management department. Since 2011, he has been a managing partner together with Giovanni Lacatena and Ulrich Klüber. Lacatena will be taking charge of global sales for the Tamaris brand on an interim basis. Matthias Rodemeier, until now product manager for Italy and Portugal, will be handling Tamaris' customer offer and continue to work as product manager for Italy. In addition to Tamaris, Wortmann owns the Jana, Caprice, S.Oliver, Be Natural and Marco Tozzi brands of footwear.
