Aerosoles is building two factories in India – one for shoes and another one for components – at a cost of about €5 million. The production will mainly be aimed at the North American market. The shoe factory should start up during the first half of 2006. The Portuguese-American footwear group already has plants in Portugal and Romania. It is still considering an investment in Angola and continues to source in China, Brazil and India. It has an annual turnover of about €160 million and 88 stores around the world.
