After handling the turnaround of R.G. Barry, Thomas Von Lehman, the company’s chief executive who was appointed in 2004 to get the company moving in a positive direction, believes that the business is on track and that his work is complete. He is going to begin looking for a chief operating officer and president who will eventually replace himself. R.G. Barry probably ended its financial year in black – the first time it has done so since 2001.
