After seven years as chief executive of Bally, Marco Franchini has left to pursue other personal interests. Franchini joined the company in 2002 and led it through a successful reorganization. According to Bally’s chairman, Peter Harf, no decision has yet been taken regarding Franchini’s replacement, but the company however confirmed its creative director, Brian Atwood, in his role. In April 2008, an Austrian holding company, Labelux Group, bought Bally from Texas Pacific Group, which had owned the Swiss company since 1999.
