Alfred Pusswald has recently left Vögele Shoes, where he worked as head of purchasing for about one year. Vögele Shoes belongs to Karl Vögele and operates about 260 shoe shops in Switzerland. According to Vögele Shoes, Pusswald had a different opinion on the alignment of the company's product line and product positioning. Adrian Grossholz, chief exeuctive of Vögele Shoes, will be handling Pusswald's responsibilities until further notice. Pusswald had previously worked for Stiefelkönig, Idana and Wortmann. He left the ANWR Group at the end of October 2017 to take up the position as head of purchasing with the Swiss shoe retail chain. A family-owned business, Vögele has its headquarters in Uznach on Lake Zurich. The company has 200 branches and employs 1,700 people. In May 2018, CCC, the Polish shoe retail chain, acquired 70 percent of the Swiss shoe retail chain's shares.
