ANCI and the International Footwear Museum P. Bertrolini are organizing a new exhibition around the stiletto heel in the castle of Vigevano, running from Feb. 23 to May 25. Sponsored by the Italian National Fashion Chamber, the exhibition will feature photographs and actual shoe models created since 1953, the date given for the birth of stiletto heel in Vigevano. It will include styles developed by Italian and French fashion houses such as those of Salvatore Ferragamo, Re Marcello, Roger Vivier and Charles Jourdan, and also more contemporary styles by Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton, René Caovilla, Giuseppe Zanotti and others including new designers such as Courtney Crawford and Guillaume Hinfray.
