Anci, the Italian shoemakers' association that organizes Micam, has launched its first web TV around the theme of Italian footwear. Its program includes sessions intended to help customers find the best fitting shoes and to discriminate among the different materials used in the products. It's yet another digital initiative steered by its managing director, Fabio Aromatici, who has pledged to put one out every six months. Anci's “I love Italian Shoes” page on Facebook has already generated more than 50,000 contacts, and its e-commerce platform has implemented an application of Apple iPhones that allows people to find the closest store of a specific brand through Google maps. Similar applications for Android and other systems will follow soon.
