Another top manager has left Geox, in the wake of the former chief executive, Diego Bolzonello, and Lodovico Mazzolari, general manager for marketing and sales. This time it's the turn of Massimo Stefanello to leave. He joined the company in 2007 to take care of real estate development and became corporate managing director in 2009, taking the place of Luciano Santel who left to join Stefanel, the Italian apparel company. Prior to Geox, Stefanello handled finances for LIR, the holding company of Geox, controlled by Mario Moretti Polegato and his family, which also controls Diadora.
