Anpic, the Mexican leather and footwear exhibition in Léon, attracted more visitors than expected. There were a total of 14,503 buyers, and 93 percent came from the country. Out of the foreign visitors, more than 30 percent of them came from the U.S., 14 percent from Guatemala, 13 percent from Colombia, 8 percent from Salvador and 6 percent from Italy. According to a survey, the exhibitors collected immediate orders for 402.7 million pesos (€22.8m-$30.6m), 3 percent more than one year ago.
