Anton Magnani, the Italian shoe designer who has worked lately for Dry-ShoD, Manas, Bally and Clarks, has quit as manager of the Clarks Originals division for unknown reasons. Separately, Ricardo Meyer, the former Puma executive who acted most recently as international sales manager at Falke, has left the German legwear and underwear company to become worldwide sales manager at Elefanten, the children’s shoe company recently acquired by Clarks. Meyer replaces Bernd Rossberg, who left the shoe company in November after more than 10 years in various management positions, due to differences of opinion on the strategic course to be pursued over the coming years. Meyer will report to Stefan Krug, general manager of Elefanten.
