As reported in the previous issue, Armin Müller has been appointed chief executive of Bruno Magli. The position is permanent. The 54-year-old German national is going to take a close look at all the operations of the company and its position in the different markets before making any decisions together with its controlling shareholder, the Fortelius investment fund. As a management consultant, Müller recently contributed to the reorganization of the Italian fashion house of Versace. Previously, as chief financial officer of Jil Sander, he made it profitable again by cutting its operating costs and prepared its sale to a Japanese company at the end of 2008 with an enterprise value equal to 30 times its Ebitda. Müller worked also for Black & Decker and Porsche.
