Assocalzaturifici, the association of Italian footwear manufacturers, is supporting a project called “Chi semina raccoglie,” the Italian for “You reap what you sow.” The project is organized by Ca'leido, an Italian non-profit association that helps autistic children. Assocalzaturifici will help build a new facility for autistic children in Altivole, a village in the Italian province of Treviso. Every year under the presidency of Annarita Pilotti, Assocalzaturifici has been choosing a different project to support, in a different region of Italy, with the objective to help improve the conditions of people in need. Pilotti was elected to the presidency of Assocalzaturifici in 2015, the first woman to hold that role.
