At its annual convention in Milan a few days ago, the Italian shoe industry association, Anci, signed a contract with an Italian credit insurance company, Sace BT, to provide special rates for its members, many of whom have suffered from the late payments made by Italian and foreign clients. The convention, the first one to have been directed by Anci's new president, Cleto Sagripanti, went down very well. It revolved around the “made in Italy” theme. We shall discuss some of its highlights in the next issues of Shoe Intelligence.
