Bacus, another Italian company that produces and sells middle-of-the-range men’s and women’s footwear under the eponymous brand name, also posted a stable turnover in 2003. Around two-thirds of its sales of roughly €12 million are generated by exports, divided equally between Europe and the USA. No decision has been taken so far on prices for the latter market to compensate for the strong euro. For the moment they remain stable.
