Ballin has opened its second Milan store on via Santo Spirito, close to the showroom that it opened last April. It is the seventh boutique running under the Italian company's brand name. According to reports published following its inauguration, Ballin raised its sales by 68 percent in 2010 to €34.5 million, generating an operating profit of €2.4 million with a production of 250,000 pairs under the Ballin brand – all in Italy. A sales increase of 20 percent is expected for this year. The company plans to add a new production unit in its same area of Fiesso d'Artico, near Venice, next year.
