Birkenstock continues on its growth path
Birkenstock managed to raise its total sales by 7 percent in 2013, according to officials of the company, who declined to provide a specific sales figure. The German shoe manufacturer sold about 11.8 million pairs of shoes last year, including 1.1 million pairs in the U.S. alone.
