Brown Shoe Company has appointed four new executives to help lead its American Sporting Goods division, which it bought in February. Jim Hoff is the new vice president for sales across all brands, coming from Asics America, where he was most recently vice president – sales, athletic footwear, apparel, accessories. Alan Vickers is the vice president international, bringing experience with companies including Reebok, Nautilus and Starbucks. He was also president of Nike France for four years. Brad Little is vice president and brand manager Avia and Nevados. He started in the industry at Adidas and added on experience at Le Chameau, Deckers Outdoor, Columbia Sportswear and Nike. Jorge Cabrera is vice president athletic product development. He's been with Brown Shoe since last year, overseeing product development and design of athletic footwear. He will now focus exclusively on American Sporting Goods. He joined Brown Shoe from Brooks Sports, where he was vice president – operations and manufacturing. Besides Avia and Nevados, American Sporting Goods also includes the brands Ryka and AND 1.
