Buffalo Boots, the German footwear brand acquired by Deichmann in October 2016, has decided to close down its mono-brand stores in Düsseldorf and Cologne. The company will now be focusing on its wholesale business. Over the past 18 months, Buffalo had been striving to reposition its business and strengthen its brand. German-speaking markets aside, Buffalo is now sold in 25 European countries as well as in the U.S., Japan and Russia. Buffalo will continue to sell through its own online store.
