Camper, the Spanish shoe brand, was awarded with the national fashion industry award of Spain. Camper received the award at a ceremony in Madrid on Dec. 19. The National Fashion Awards were presented for the fifth time this year by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. Camper was created 1975 in Mallorca and is now being sold in more than 40 countries. Camper recently opened its first two CamperLab flagship stores in London and Paris, adding to the seven standard stores already operating under its brand name in each of the two cities. The new concept was developed by Camper's creative director, Romain Kremer, who has been with the brand since 2014. Both stores offer a more definitive selection of styles as well as CamperLab exclusives. A further CamperLab store will be opening its doors in New York shortly. In addition to the CamperLabs, the company has 400 stores worldwide operating under its own brand name. They are generally different from one another in creative ways.
