C&A has reported a 3.3 percent drop in total revenues to €2.6 billion for the financial year ended last Feb. 28, in spite of the addition of 50 new stores during the year to reach a total of 303 locations. Another 60 are in the pipeline for this year. Company officials blamed the sales results on excessively fashionable offerings in the women’s apparel sector. The net profit margin remained relatively good at 3.9 percent of sales.
