Clariant has launched its Aqualen Top IL polyurethane dispersion for leather finishers. An aqueous intermediate lacquer, it is a solvent-free alternative to nitro cellulose emulsions. Clariant says that it eliminates solvents from exhaust air and leaves no solvent behind on the leather.
