Converse is introducing the new Chuck Taylor All Star II, an adaptation of the Chuck Taylor All Star iconic silhouette. The launch has been broadly labelled as “ground-breaking”, considering that the Chuck Taylor All Star, launched in 1917, is one of the world's most celebrated sneakers. The new version features for the first time Nike Lunarlon sockliner, for superior full foot cushioning and arch support. Nike has been Converse's mother company since 2003. The shoe also features a foam padded collar, a non-slip gusseted tongue for 360-degree comfort, and a perforated micro suede liner for improved breathability. Premium details in the new design include a fully embroidered All Star patch, on-trend high foxing, and monochrome matte eyelets. The new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II sneaker made its debut on July 28. It is available at Converse retail stores, select retailers and online at, in black, white, red, and blue color versions.
