After extensive renovation, the German shoe company Josef Seibel has opened its newly designed shoe factory and visitor experience center in Hauenstein, in the Rhineland-Palatinate region, to mark its 135th anniversary.

With its wood paneling, clear lines and state-of-the-art interiors, Josef Seibel’s new factory houses an exhibition where visitors can learn about foot anatomy and the functions of shoes.

From the exhibition area, visitors can enter the production area, where sneakers from the new 1886 series as well as from the SON (Spirit of Nature) series are manufactured, and can then be purchased in the newly designed store.

Josef Seibel invested around €3 million in the project.

The revamped factory in Hauenstein goes hand in hand with an extensive brand relaunch and a new marketing strategy designed by the company in recent seasons.
