La Halle, currently in receivership, will know who are its buyer or buyers on July 8, according to its current owner Vivarte. La Halle received 25 bids for its assets, which represent a significant part of its activity.

A Paris-based commercial tribunal will decide to whom the assets will be sold on July 8 after a day-long hearing with the bidders.

Vivarte previously said that the bids would guarantee the purchase of 607 stores and secure 4,036 jobs. The bidders include the footwear retailers Chaussea, Besson and Gemo as well as the fashion retailer Groupe Beaumanoir.
