LVMH and Google Cloud have entered a strategic partnership to accelerate innovation and develop new cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) solutions “to create new, personalized customer experiences that foster long-term growth” for the brands of the French luxury goods group.

The partners will provide new AI and machine learning (ML) technologies that will improve the business operations of LVMH’s brands by enhancing demand forecasting and inventory optimization, as well as elevate customer experiences through personalization, while respecting the French group’s privacy and security requirements.

LVMH will also obtain Google Cloud’s support in “enhancing its culture of innovation, including the creation of dedicated, inclusive upskilling and certification programs.” In addition, both companies will explore co-innovation opportunities and launch a Data and AI Academy in Paris.

As part of the partnership, LVMH will use Google Cloud to modernize components of its IT infrastructure.
