Zara will inaugurate on March 17 new eco-efficient and high-tech premises in Arteixo, in the northwestern Spanish region of Galicia, where its parent company Inditex is located. The new 67,000 square meter building will house the studios of and the central design department of Zara Man. It is part of a €130 million investment program to modernize Inditex’s head office.

The ground floor and the first floor will be occupied by Zara Man’s central design department and will provide room for an extensive pattern design area and extended showrooms. The second and third floors will accommodate the team, while the studios will be on the fourth floor.

The fifth floor is currently fitted with eight permanent cycloramas, but it is designed to cater for Zara’s campaigns. It is also home to the brand’s editors who select the pictures to upload onto the product pages.

The building is connected with the rest of Inditex’s complex via a glass walkway located on the third floor. All its energy comes from renewable sources. It also reuses rainwater for watering and sanitation thanks to a subterranean tank.
