Camper has embarked on numerous initiatives to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The Spanish shoe brand has started to use its own 3D printers to manufacture components for medical protective visors. One hundred pieces can be printed each week at its facilities in the Balearic Islands to be given to IB Salud, a health service in the region. Camper is also waiting for final authorization to manufacture parts for ventilators. It has already donated shoes for medical personnel as well as slippers for patients. The iPads that Camper normally uses in its stores have been handed over to hospitals to allow patients remain in contact with their relatives. Camper is planning to launch additional support initiatives including the use of its supply chain in China to import medical materials to Spain.
