Däumling has signed a centralized settlement contract with GMS for the ‘Boys & girls' trade concept recently launched by the  the German buying group. The concept of GMS involves marketing and financial support, as well as training for sales personnel and owners or store managers. The stores will be branded as Boys & Girls stores, coupled with the former name of each store. The German buying group provides the setup of the stores. It holds a portfolio of children's shoe brands for centralized settlements including also Richter, Ecco, Primigi, Ricosta, Skechers Kids, Superfit, Meindl, Living Kitzbühel and Kamik. GMS has already opened two pilot stores under the new concept, in Potsdam and Dresden. For spring 2014, the buying group expects to expand the concept to more retailers.
