Daniel Krauss, 42, has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing at Bernd Hummel Holding starting this month. His responsibilities include the sales of the the Kangaroos and Flip Flop brands as well as customer service and marketing. He began his career in controlling in 2001 at Hugo Boss' head office. Most recently he has been serving as managing director of Otto Kern since March 2015. Bernd Hummel, which is named after its founder and chief executive, is the world's largest licensee of the Kangaroos brand, which is owned by the Pentland Group. It also owns the Flip Flop brand of sandals. Some of Krauss' functions were previously handle by Rainer Pfeiffer, a former manager of Jack Wolfskin who has left the company after heading its sales department.
