Debora Klein is the new buying director of Karstadt in charge of lingerie, hosiery, footwear and accessories. She worked previously for Vroom & Dreesmann, a Dutch retailer that, as noted by Textilwirtschaft, has many concessions. Her appointment appears to be linked to the management's desire to push the concession business and to strike new exclusive agreements with many brands. Discussions have been held recently with the likes of Kurt Geiger, Ted Baker, Tiger of Sweden, Cinque and others.
