Dragon, the Formula E (electric) auto-racing team, will now be known as Geox Dragon, thanks to a new long-term agreement with the Italian shoemaker. Geox will be supplying the Dragon team with outerwear and, of course, footwear. The Geox sole, with its heat- and humidity-reducing membrane, will be put to the test this December, with the start of a 13-race season that will take racers from Saudi Arabia and Marrakesh to Mexico City, Rome, Paris, Berlin and New York. Among Dragon's drivers is José María López, a three-time World Touring Car Driver's Champion. Dragon was founded by Jay Penske in 2007, and itself a founding team of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, is based in Los Angeles, the world's largest metropolitan market for electric vehicles.
