Salvatore Ferragamo has teamed with Microsoft and its technological partner Hevolus to offer a 3D made-to-order service enabling the customization of the Italian luxury brand’s Tramezza footwear styles.
Thanks to Microsoft’s Azure Cloud computing service and its mixed reality technologies, upon which Hevolus’s Augmented Store at Home platform is based, Ferragamo has offered since Oct. 15 the option to personalize the Tramezza’s men’s shoe collection online and in-store.
Clients can choose from four Tramezza models, five materials and nine colors. They can customize the sole by selecting the color and choose the buckle.
The service will be promoted in the coming months through in-store events hosted in 24 cities, including Milan, London, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Mexico City and Sao Paulo.
