DZB Bank, the own bank of Ariston-Nord-West-Ring, has appointed Gerhard Glesel new member of DZB’s board of directors, effective July 1. At DZB, Glesel will be in charge of centralized invoicing and customer relationship management. The 46-year-old continues to work for Aktivbank, another bank of ANWR, where he concentrates on the new business unit for invoicing. Glesel joined ANWR after serving as managing director of VR Diskontbank. Glesel’s appointment followed the move of Günter Althaus, DZB’s managing director, to the top of ANWR as its chief executive, replacing Roland Schwerdtfeger. Althaus remains on DZB’s board of directors in charge of finances, marketing and communication.
