ECCO has launched an e-commerce operation in the U.K., after similar moves in the Netherlands and the U.S., where it is selling 30,000 pairs a year through this channel. The company is still targeting 1,500 corporate and franchised stores around the world within the next five years. The number of SKUs has been reduced from 1,600 to 1,000 and should be further trimmed down to 600.
