El Naturalista recorded a sales increase of 8 percent to €30 million in 2015, as compared to the previous year. For 2016, the Spanish shoe brand expects its sales to increase by another 10-12 percent. After setting up its own subsidiary in the U.S. two years ago, El Naturlista achieved sales of €1 million in the U.S. and Canada in 2015. The company expects its sales in these markets to rise to a total of €2 million by the end of this year. Since last season, El Naturalista also sells its shoes in Colombia. The market is covered directly from the brand's headquarters in Spain. The Spanish company's sales efforts have been led since last June by Luis Gaytan de Ayala, a former manager at the University of Navarra. Pablo de la Peña, chief executive of El Naturalista, previously held the position. Jàsminka Romanos joined the company as communication and public relations manager in September.
