Enzi, a men's footwear brand based in Africa that touts itself as being ethically sourced, is going to launch in the U.K. this summer. The first shoe, the Menelik, will be available in May. It was produced by artisan craftsmen in Ethiopia using leather and other materials sources from Africa. Enzi was founded by Sam Imende, Jawad Braye, Azariah Mengistu and Christian Ward with the intention of changing the perception of Africa through high-quality fashion, while boosting economic growth on the continent.
