Eram has decided to launch a new logo and to renovate all the 500-plus stores and franchises trading under the Eram banner in France and elsewhere, following a positive test on a location in the Parinor shopping center north of Paris. The younger new concept, which uses a lot of yellow, has been implemented in a store on rue de Rennes in central Paris and in other cities. About 50 doors will be converted to the new format each year. The assortment will be revised, in spite of reportedly high inventories of obsolete models. The buying team has been reorganized. A new general manager, Yann Hinsinger, was hired late last year. He was formerly buying director at Pimkie, a French apparel chain with a similar market positioning.
