Eram, the French footwear retailer, is testing a new service of home delivery. The pilot project, in partnership with Shopopop, is being tested in Nantes, a city with a population of around 300,000 in the western part of the country. The service is offered in cases in which the customer cannot find the requested shoe in one of Eram's physical stores in town. The shoe has to be available in one of the other five shops in Nantes, though. The test is initially being conducted at the local level.
