Esprit has confirmed the appointment of a new global marketing director, Arnd Mueller, replacing Jan Erik van Dijk who left in September. Among other stations, Mueller, 41, has spent 12 years with Walt Disney, where he has been in charge of clothing, shoes and accessories. Meanwhile, Chew Fook Aun, chief financial office of Esprit, has left the company for personal reasons that prevent him from traveling extensively to Europe to help expand the brand. The chief financial officer was expected to help oversee the company's efforts to regroup strategic functions in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. In particular, Esprit hopes to boost its presence in the Benelux countries and France.
