Cat Footwear, a division of Wolverine Worldwide, has appointed Chip Coe as its global brand president. He will be reporting to Chris Hufnagel, who belongs to Wolverine’s executive team and is global brand president of Merrell. Coe has been with Wolverine since 2010, serving as president of the Chaco brand of outdoor footwear, president of the group for the EMEA region and, most recently, Wolverine’s senior vice president of strategy, with oversight of business development, consumer insights and market intelligence. He also served for a year and a half as chief executive of a start-up accessory brand, Teko, and for almost seven years as president of Smartwool.
