According to various sources, Clarks has undergone a management reshuffle after its takeover by the Hong Kong-based private equity firm LionRock Capital.

The chief executive, Giorgio Presca, the chief commercial officer, Massimo Barzaghi, and the head of human resources, Difna Blamey, have left the company, they indicated.

Meanwhile, Victor Herrero, a non-executive director on Clarks’ board, has been appointed as chairman and CEO.

Herrero has been on Clarks’ board since 2019. Previously, he was the chief executive of the American clothing brand Guess from 2015 to 2019 and head of Asia Pacific for the Spanish group Inditex for 12 years.
