The brand of fashion comfort shoes, FitFlop, has hired Gianni Georgiades as its new CEO, effective April 6. He replaces Michael Lockett, who left the company in August.

Georgiades comes from Lacoste’s footwear joint venture with Pentland Brands, where he was CEO for nearly three years.

He was previously vice president in charge of Europe for Coach. He also worked for nearly six years for Deckers Brands, becoming managing director in charge of UGG’s omnichannel business in EMEA.

“We can already feel the energy, enthusiasm and expertise that Gianni is bringing to the FitFlop table, and our team is looking forward to working with him, and to building on our strengths to create the world’s biggest - and of course best- wellness footwear brand,” said FitFlop’s founder Marcia Kilgore.
