Tapestry, the New York-based owner of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, has appointed Scott Roe as chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 1. Roe will have responsibility for all finance functions as well as leading the company’s strategy and consumer insights teams.
He joins from VF Corp., the owner of Vans, Timberland and other brands, where he has worked for 25 years. He has served as CFO since April 2015 at the American footwear and apparel company and will be replaced by Matt Puckett. Roe will remain with VF through the end of May to complete the review of its 2021 fiscal year.
With Roe’s appointment, Andrea Shaw Resnick, who has held the position of interim CFO since July 2020, will assume the newly created role of chief communications officer. In addition, Christina Colone, currently vice president of investor relations, will be promoted to global head of investor relations.
