In 2021, the Russian footwear producer Baden expects to increase in sales by 15 to 17 percent compared to pre-Covid levels, according to its general director Vitaly Stepin.

He noted that although the demand is recovering in Russia, customers are focusing on cheaper footwear.

“Companies in above-average price segments are experiencing great difficulties in selling their products. Even in our middle segment, we are working on costs because price matters to the customers,” he added.
