Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) has appointed Greg Tunney, president and chief executive at RG Barry and former vice chairman of the association, as its new chairman. He replaces Blake Krueger, chairman, chief executive and president of Wolverine Worldwide, who has served as chairman of FDRA for two years. Nick Grayston, senior vice president and president of footwear and home at Sears Holdings, will become the FDRA's vice chairman, while Rick Muskat will maintain his current role of treasurer. Founded in 1944 and based in Washington, FDRA represents more than 100 companies and over 200 brands in the U.S., including large importers and major shoe retail chains, providing market intelligence and lobbying services.
