Fratelli Rossetti has mandated a financial advisor, Carretti & Associati, to find a strategic or institutional investor who may be willing to put more equity into the Italian footwear company. The main goal is to enable the company to make major investments in the Chinese market and other parts of Asia. Owned by three brothers, Fratelli Rossetti is doing very well in the U.S. and some other foreign markets, but has been affected by the economic crisis in Italy, which represents about 65 percent of its sales. The turnover has declined from a level of €80 million recorded in 2011, and the company is now breaking even.
